About
Seeking to share the Truth. May Love be evident. How much good is done should we win the debate but lose the heart? Apologies for the times it seems that the truth is spoken without love. May they be few and far between, even if it does not feel that way at first.
While this site was initially set up to explore deeper Biblical truths regarding ONE primary topic, there are plenty of OTHER Biblical topics, passages, words, etc. worthy of deep exploration. We encourage you to dig deeper as YHWH leads you, whether or not it has anything to do with what is posted on this site.
The site was set up, and at this point, is still focused on observing the Biblical Sabbath. Some of the verses used, and some of the questions, may be more general and may apply to parts of the Bible in general. However, the focus is still, at this point, on Sabbath, not on the other Biblical teachings that are not found in the 10 commandments. (Except regarding being a blessing to the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, standing against antisemitism, reuniting the “10 lost tribes” of the northern kingdom of Israel with Judah and the southern kingdom of Israel, and similar ways of blessing those whom God blesses.)
Use this site to learn or consider as much as you like. And continue learning more - on this subject or others - from other sites and sources. This site is by NO means the final stop in your journey. Don't get stuck on this one topic. Keep growing in God.
"11 for no one can lay a foundation other than the one which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will be clearly shown [for what it is]; for the day [of judgment] will disclose it, because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality and character and worth of each person’s work. 14 If any person’s work which he has built [on this foundation, that is, any outcome of his effort] remains [and survives this test], he will receive a reward. 15 But if any person’s work is burned up [by the test], he will suffer the loss [of his reward]; yet he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has barely escaped] through fire." (AMP, 1 Corinthians 3:11-15)
If we are willing, might we be better off to seek to have the wood, hay, and straw (stubble) burnt away from our lives while we still have time to replace those things with gold, silver, and precious stones that will withstand the test?
Though the process may not be easy - and it may cost some friends, family, and more - will it not be better for our eternal outcome to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness even when God's Word contradicts one or more of our "cherished" traditions that we have grown up with?
Don't take our word for it. We are on a journey of learning for ourselves, and our posts reflect what little we have learned as of the publication dates of the posts. They are subject to change, as we learn more from Scriptures, from Ruach HaQodesh (Holy Spirit), and from other sources.
Search the Scriptures for yourselves. And seek God's help to be faithful in living according to His will.
